The horror! The horror!
Monsters and the Gothic seem to be taking over the world of crime studies.
Apart from the horror event in Liverpool (see previous post), there's Rethinking the Monstrous coming up in Munich, organized by one of CSN;s founders, Malcah Effron.
And closer to home (for those of us based in Hull), there's the Bram Stoker Centenary Conference coming next year, where one of the themes will be "criminality and the Gothic".
